Devon Fox Posted August 5, 2010 Report Share Posted August 5, 2010 They tend to get loose & mustard like after being stressed, after bitting etc bad weather and getting damp can also bring it on, Like I said earlier I would be thinking along the lines of coxy or hexamiter - I would get a vets opinion as without seeing them its pure speculation - make sure most importanty that you dip boots when going in/out of that pen/run as it can be easily spread, it can be treated with biotics into the water system if you get on it fast! markyboy Posted August 7, 2010 Report Share Posted August 7, 2010 are the birds coughing,openin their mouths and stretchin their necks? put some panacure in there water drinkers they may well have gapes. which is a small worm. you often get this prob with wet weather and alot of birds in the pen year after year.
