Eley .410 subsonic

Do any of you use the Eley subs in your hushpower .410?

 

I bought some yesterday and i am disappointed with them! I think they are just as loud if not louder than a standard 3" Eley cart.

 

Does anyone else feel this way? Or does anyone swear by them?

i got a hushpower 410 2 weeks ago and just found this out myself . im told fiocchi 2.5 inch are good so trying to source some to give a bash . i was very disapointd with the eley subs as the gamebore 3inch i bought were 2 grams lighter and a good bit quieter .

have you asked an observer if theres a noticable difference in sound when 30ft away?, as I rate the subs 100% nice and quite for fox dispatch in the cage trap,

use the 3" if rough shooting, and find they are deffo more of a bang

I've a baikal stealth 2.5'' and 3'' are ok 2'' twice as load,i have bean told by 2or3 mate,s the sub's not worth using in the .410.

Don't bother with subs go with 2.5" or 2" carts if you want it quieter.

I tried the 3"Eley Subs in my Mossberg 410 with moderator and was also not impressed

after trying many types of cartridges found the Eley fourlongs to be the best for producing an airgun type 'Fut'.
