shotgun sam
Does anyone have the C frame Lee Reloader Press and how do they rate it. What dies would I need to reload 308 ammo and does it permit full length sizing? Do you know of any links to videos that show it in action. seeker
Have used one and they do the job. For dies look at the Lee Deluxe set (yellow box) with both collet and full length dies. Try a search on u-tube
Redgum
Not used one but a chap once advised me to get the lee classic press as its much stronger.
Andy H
I managed to snap one in half about 12 years ago resizing 303 , I forgot to lube a case and it stuck solid.
Vince Green
None of the Lee pesses are all that strong but good enough. I have managed to snap two by full length resizing but the real weak spot is the handle and linkage which I think is the same for all. It doesnt give that much leverage and you have to really jump up and down on it sometimes. The handle bends under the load. A better press is much more "positive" in its feel and will inspire a lot more confidence Edited August 10, 2010 by Vince Green
harv
i have both the c and classic, the c is not good at all, the classic is very strong and the handle can be adjusted for leverage, i dont think there is anything to touch it pricewise
