Hypaflaps

Just bought a pair of hypaflaps from our sponsor and they flap well. My concern is that there is quite a bit of white colouring on the back rump and tail area which is not part of the natural colour scheme of a woodie. I noticed from my car - about 200 yds from magnet - that this white area seemed to flash in sunlight.

Has anyone else noticed this? is it a problem? Has anyone toned down with matt grey? Comments welcomed.

Oh, and before anyone asks I had a **** day. There seems to be few birds around at the moment in the Nth Bristol area.

Like many others on here, I have used them with a lot of success and in fact rarely change over to dead birds on the rotary.

They also work well on bouncer/floaters.

The white areas on the decoy (even though they may be out of proportion), makes them easy to spot from a distance (as you discovered), I think thats one of the reasons they work so well.

Its the flash of white on the wing bars and neck bands that catches their attention and brings them in by the the time they realize their is something wrong its to late. I have great success with both dead woodys and hyperflaps i tend to use the hyperflaps more on the longer sessions because my battery lasts longer with them on
