jason kaye
Hi all I've just aquired an absolutely mint 12g Aya No4 boxlock ejector. To cut along story short it's been in storage for the last 20 years or so,and is in stunning condition,it was unfired until last week untill I put seven cartridges through it,just to be sure every thing is ok and it shoots a dream,it is choked 1/4 and3/4 and has 28" barrels, the case hardening and blacking in as newand even the triggers still retain their colour hardening and the well figured oiled woodwork hasn't got a blemish on it,it even came in it's original packaging with it's proof cert(1989) the only thing is ,is I think it's too nice for me to drag through the bushes etc,so I'm thinking I might sell it,I'm sure it's rare to find a gun this old in this condition,so I would like to ask if anyone as good idea of what it's worth.Any help on valuing it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jase. Edited September 21, 2010 by jason kaye

COACH
AYA No 4 in mint condition, only fired half dozen cartridges ...... £1000 I should say that that`s what a gun shop would be putting it out for. In reality a private realistic price would be about £700. Edited September 21, 2010 by COACH

arjimlad
Best bet for that might be a gunshop, really. They are undervalued on private sales. New today I am told these cost over £2,000. There are a lot out there for £500-£1000 though.

jason kaye
looks like £1000 is too much , I'm not saying it;s not worth that IMHO it is ,so I'd say for £750 some body would get a cracking oppurtunity to own what I think is rare find. garjo
Would'nt the easiest thing to do is to put this for sale on trading post? Let the market decide?
