camokid
well after the first sighting two years ago i mannage to bag stumpy. i first seen him when i was flushing birds to the gun two years ago he ran out 20 or so yards away from me out the cover of the brambles. as he ran a notice he looked odd . his tail from the back looked like a fluffy ball. since then i have spotted him a couple more times but never had the chance for the shot. friday night came and down to the farm i went i sat in one spot calling for about 20 min then the cows came i dont no about you lot but **** staying in there with them. i then went to the next field had a shine and bingo set of eyes about 150 yards i gave a sqweek or two flicked the lamp back on and he was running right at me . i got to the fence post at this point he was about 70 yards but still coming , in the end i had to shout him to stop bang down he went head shot at close range i would say 50 yards if that. on a closer look his tail had been broke and sort of made the brush bend inside odd. anyway here he is stumpy

Frenchieboy
Nice one mate, good shooting! Your Howa .223 might like foxes but I somehow think that the foxes aren't very keen on the Howa, especially poor little Stumpy! He, he, he, he!
