COACH
Have a look on the barrels and it will tell you. 76mm is 3 inch 89mm is 3 1/2 inches. But I`m pretty sure they are 76mm.

MattSoanes
Mine also only has 3" chambers, i thought magnum cartridges were only supposed to be used in magnum proofed guns ( not sure though) wouldnt fancy rattling 52grams through mine anyway. Guest cookoff013
i think the tallian is a [ PSF ] with 2 stars above it. my benelli is 3.5" and will digest anything !
Schern
i think the tallian is a [ PSF ] with 2 stars above it.my benelli is 3.5" and will digest anything ! Yep, my 682 has PSF and 2 stars and it means it's Magnum proofed. Not the same as high performance steel proofed though. That needs the fleur de lys or high performance steel written on it IIRC. utectok
Some sp or 680s series guns take 3 1/2 some steel proofed some just 3" I hear the 3 1/2" ones are a big front heavy??
Alycidon
Even if it did which I doubt it will kick like a donkey!!. Chamber length should be marked on the barrels along with what pressure it is proved to. My 687 which is about 20 years old now certainly would not, earlier model I know but even 32gr let me know about it. I usually use 36gr Hevishot 4s for Geese on inland flight ponds through 1/4 and 1/2 choke, pellets are a bit small I know but the chokes are a bit open so balance has to be struck. If I keep it below 40 yards they work well. A Edited October 3, 2010 by Alycidon
COACH
My Silver pigeon, takes 3.5 shots. Some of the 686 Silver Pigeon S do indeed have 3 1/2 inch chambers. But put you on your back if you use it all
MK10
Will my Silver Pigeon 3 take 3.5 magnum BB shells?? Hi Baymarine, Is there are reason why you're looking at 3-1/2 inch cartridge lengths in BB's?
