Frenchieboy
Amazing photos Kay, well done. To get photos like that you need good camera skills and a very good understanding of wildlife, you obvoiusly have both!

Kay
Amazing photos Kay, well done. To get photos like that you need good camera skills and a very good understanding of wildlife, you obvoiusly have both! It helped that the deer were in a position where i could get the sun behind me.. also i had heard the stag calling from my garden & wondered if he would still be about by 11am & luckily he was ... its certainly a first for me getting pics of him actually calling

Kay
Hi Kay Picture number 8 is the money shot. Hope your keeping this place a secret. I was at this location only the other day shooting the Pigeons. I mean missing the pigeons  GG been up again today this stags on fire right now i crept about for hours & thought i had missed them today then i spotted a hind so i hung around .. he is still calling & has around a dozon hinds with him .. but i witnessed a hind mounting him which i hadnt seen before .. he then turned on her & sent her packing.. it will be good to see him go from the toned beast he is now to a scrawny looking thing he will become when he is all worn out  I think the next 3 or so weeks are going to be an education & hopefully a few nice pics .... ........ some cloning was needed on the pics to take out buildings that may be recognised
