Any body got any preferences? just ordered a pair of esk m/boots today as the rubber seems to go a bit higher up the boot than the rest of the range.dont know if it makes a differance or not as there supposed to be waterproof any way,but why take the chance alan ,
henry d
Don`t know about the ones you mention, but I have the Derwents and they are spot on. First time on they were a bit tight but after several walks with the dog they seemed to stretch a bit and now they are invaluable in the cold and wet of autumn. DAZ I'll second that I bought the same model and after a bit of tightness / stiffness and pinching whilst they were brand new they quickly softened to become very comfortable indeed. I can't see myself buying anything else in future unless I win the lottery.

thinxs
If they stretch and give a bit, is it best to buy them as a snug fit or with a little bit of room when wearing thick socks?

I too have the Derwent which are great boots. Warm and comfy and of course, waterproof. Mine seem slightly large though and would be too loose without thick socks.
