Harnser Posted November 2, 2010 Report Share Posted November 2, 2010 The .357 magnum and the .44 magnum are very good deer cartridges at ranges up to 100 yards . Both are used extensivly in the states during the hand gun season . I have killed a white tail buck clean at about 50 yards with a .44 magnum revolver . Harnser .
