stubby
after coming in early this morning (2am night work) playing black ops till 5am, sleeping till noon, I then had a phone call from sticko, asking if I wanted to help with some pest control at his fisheries permission, we ended up with ten, six went to the butchers, the groundsman had one (breasted by us) and I breasted the remaining ones at home, looks like a good tea tomorrow night, and lamping rabbits tonight to finish the day off.. Bleeh
I hope you didn't pick the biggest. Always pick the youngest Goose - Look for down and short tail feathers - other wise a yummy breast steak will have the texture of rubber boots. stubby
well the missus eventually got round to cooking some goose breast, she found a nice sounding reciepe with thyme, garlic and red wine, smelt great and tasted even better, must have been a young bird as no hint of "rubber" its deffo on the menu from know on, she's already found a goose stew to try
