goldeneye243
Just wondering if anyone could recommend any face veils in particular for use in the hide? I am tempted to get a buff in camo, as I am not too keen on the mesh types - Would it be suitable?
caeser
They are all a pain, but I'd never be without one. I do have a Buff camo one, its ok, but I do prefer a very fine mesh one that I've got. After a while the buff seems a bit uncomfortable. I use a thin fleece type camo one on frosty days. I think its a very personal thing really. What bothers me, might not bother you, etc etc. It'll end up as trial and error. Best of luck. sitsinhedges
I used to use one but now have a scrim net scarf that I wrap around my lower face then tuck under my hat.
GP1
I took the veil net off the cap and put three popper studs each side so i can undo one each side let the net down a bit so i can have a fag or take it off completely
humperdingle
I cut off a bit of 2ft x 2 ft Clearview net, and use it as a bandana (wild west style ) Nice and simple, and helps keep flies out of yer gub.
bucolic
I bought a mesh one about two years ago, a bit stiff at first but after a few washes became softer now it is ok.
The Essex Hunter
Just wondering if anyone could recommend any face veils in particular for use in the hide? I am tempted to get a buff in camo, as I am not too keen on the mesh types - Would it be suitable? I brought a couple, but know use a piece of scrim net cut it to suit the front of my face,I used a piece of 8mm elastic webbing to secure it on my head, it does breathe well as the holes are wider and does not get so "wet" during the day as a lot do with the exhalied breath. I also use a green army neck roll that is very good when the wind is not so kind to the back of my neck, total cost £1 at a boot sale! mart46
I've used the fleece type, but because I wear glasses, they tend to steam up as my breath is diverted upwards

got_the_eye_in
Ive used the veil type before which are ok in summer although do get on my nerves a bit. The best that I have found is the one im using now which is the cabela mossy oak polarfleece facemask. Nice tight fit and your free to eat, drink smoke or whatever without taking it off.
