Which 4x4

Hi Chaps please could you advise me on 4x4 i should buy with a budget of £1500, i need it purely for carrying the pile of cr.p we normally carry plus the dog and the odd deer carcass.

looking mainly at fuel costs and how reliable they are to be honest, i'm not expecting a great deal for that money but any comments greatly received.

Frontera for me,think you might need a king cab or at least a pick up like toyota if your going to be putting deer carcass in the back

LWB 2.2 16v ecotec engine models are amazing, i would never surrender mine, put a decent set of AT`s on them and they just keep going through anything.

Just asking as im not sure n mifht also help the op are the ecotec 2.2 petrol units pron to blow head gaskets? Been offered an older (not sure if eco) 2.2 with blown head gasket and have been told by a mech that from his experiance the head will prob have gone as well?
