I don't think a change is too far off actually. There seems to be a small breeze of dissent blowing through society at the moment. Criminals and immigrants are seen to be getting away with murder, (quite literally), and if they are caught are given derisory sentences.

Joe public is fed up and is soon going to demand that something is done about the way people are rewarded for laziness, apathy and for having kids when you can't afford them!

And we as a nation can't afford for it to go on either. The ******* are bleeding us dry.

shawn go to australia mate. i spent 9yrs there and had the time of my life. i came back in 97 for a long holiday with my wife< now ex> and at the end ,she wouldnt go back ,

as she realised she missed her mum too much!!!.

it didnt matter that we had a fantastic life there, her mind was made up. if youve got young kids, aus still is the land of opportunity. the standard of living is far better than here and if you have that work ethic ,that used to be so prevelant in england, you will do very very well.

your kids are at that age where they will adapt far quicker than you and grow up in an uncrowded ,

clean environment where you arnt stressed out constantly

and cant let them play in the street. im back there in may for three weeks to catch some tuna , shoot loads of wild boar , and bore the darwin locals of tales of how england was once great. sorry fellas i still :*) l seem to be ranting. does anyone else feel just a little let down at the moment by our elected representatives?

Shawn, now is the time as Hummer states the kids will change quicker than you, Australia or Canada are perfect choices were you will make a better life than home, i would not wait till they grow up, you may end up leaving them behind, yes im English, and proud of it, but there's nothing for me there, my training from the London inst' City and Guilds gave me the edge over the locals, call it rats leaving a sinking dreadnought call it what you want, fact is being English in your own country seems to me to be a minority now, aint that a shame
