Ricko
I have moved on to The Quiet Soldier by Adam Ballinger Selection for 21 SAS TA unit. Very good. Essential reading if you were to undertake selection for the 21/23 SAS TA Regiments.
rimfire4969
John 'Lofty' Wiseman was a legend in the SAS, he was the sergeant in charge of the training wing for years. My favourite quote by him was: Were you at the embassey? No, but I know 3000 men who claimed they were. If you have an iphone you can get this on an app, it also includes videos of how toos. It is fantastic.
Conygree
My brother had a copy of the original SAS book on how the stirling bros formed the sas/sbs and there missions during WW2, sorry can't remember the title. the other book he had was called 'two eggs on my plate" the only way men knew they were selected for a mission in Norway was to be given two eggs for breakfast. LMAO Ricko Similarly, if you speak to any veteran in america who's been to Vietnam, he'll have been in the 'special forces'. It makes you wonder if they told all soldiers going that they were now in the special forces to boost morale
