highdowns hunter
YP, Thanks for the pic, The ones i saw were about 31/2 to 5 ft long they had a beak like a dolphin. I really think that they were porpoises, unless there is a small species of Dolphin The guys here went out on the boat last night and caught 4 fish total weight 47kg they didnt tell me what type they were. I think i will need some heavy gear as the water is over 100 m deep here
Cranfield
This is a dorado, not that little "peanut" (thats what they call small Dorado) HH, it does sound as though you saw porpoises.

Cranfield
This is a wahoo, supposedly the fastest fish in the sea, they are also "lit up" when first caught. Its hard to believe that picture was taken 65 miles off shore.

Cranfield
The Dorado was caught at Walkers Cay in the Bahamas and the Wahoo was out of St Augustine in North Florida. The boat is owned by a friend of mine who lives in Jacksonville,Fla. and he takes it over to Walkers Cay and fishes for 3 months a year. The other chap in the picture is Denny, his Skipper.
