wymberley
Hi, Guys, Jasper 3 is taking this knackered and sick as a parrot old pensioner out for a trip shortly. It'll be good to get a bit of fresh air as I've hardly been out of the house since mid Nov. Of course, this is not a random jolly, we're using our time wisely. Consequently, has anyone got any general points to make about the Topic rifles. Cheer
jasper3
sick old parrot..we couldn't get over a speed ramp without flatulence we have been looking at the Weihrauch range, this includes the HW60j and HW60, to be honest , I don't think many have been sold, seeing as there arn't that many importers but it would be interesting to hear if others do have any..ive had some great PMs on the 22lr anyone else out there with a HW60j

wymberley
Hi, I simply had no idea that these existed. Air rifles?, of course, but powder burners, not a clue. We crawled all over the HMR 17 that Jasp' had his eye on - an absolute delight. Once his FAC comes through, I think he'll mark that as "sold". I've been looking all over for the passed 3 months for a Hornet that suits my needs and had virtually given up. Yep, OK I'd have got something but it wouldn't have been what I really wanted. Now I've got a choice from about 4 with a further range of options if I want to fork out the extra. Overall, the calibre range is small: 22lr, 22WMR, 22HMR, 22 Hornet and 222 but provided the price discrepency (I know not) is not excessive, I can see CZ having to start looking over their corporate shoulder in this niche area. Don't know how much it costs to sort out a CZ trigger if necessary but there's no need here. If any one is in the market for one of those calibres it would do no harm to have a shufti. I am certainly putting my money up but the English speaking chappie from the makers is away at one of the big shot shell exhibitions in the States for a few days so I just have to wait a bit. Beardo
always loved what they produce, pure quality - and i've emailed the company a few times and got very helpful responses from Mr Weihrauch himself! i've had a quick play with a HW60J and was very impressed. njc110381
I've not used their powder burners but at the same time how often do you hear someone complain about anything that Weihrauch make? Their rimfires have a great reputation as do their air rifles. I can't see you going far wrong with one?!
Worstan
I use an HW60J .17 hmr it really is the poodles privates!! It looks amazing and is absolutly bang on. Had a bit of an issue with the magazine, it doesn't always load as it should, every so often a cartridge stands up as the bolt pushes it to the barrell. Hoping to get this sorted soon. Other than that a lovely rifle.

the enigma
I was in the gunshop a couple of weeks ago looking at rimmies. He had a couple of HW66 in stock. Lovely rifle, same action as the HW60,but with more target type stock. Looks a bit different from the others but has a much better feel, slightly heavier, which I liked. Unfortunately quality don't come cheap.... think he was lookin £750 for a second hand one. Like you say,it very hard to get any info on them, although there's a couple of guys on here use them.
