hi myself and a friend shoot the cpsa at e.j every month and are looking for 3 other shooters to make up a group of 5 each month or as much as possible. booking as a group of 5 drops the entry fee from £48 to £36 so well worth it. we are just c class shooters so not out to will anything, would just like to meet up each month for the shoot and have a laugh and a coffee after. anyone interested please get in touch. the shoot is the first saturday each month and we normally shoot at 9am but that can be changed if the group would like it a bit later.

Book as a group of

5 for the CPSA

Book as a group of 5 and receive 25% off.

Shoot 100 Challenging targets over 12 stands!

£27 - Members usually £36

£36 - Non Members usually £48

hope to hear from all you keen shooters !

I have shot English Sporting at EJ Churchill many times over the years (I am just few miles away).

I am not a member of the CPSA, should I need to join them first?

Would you like to meet up before the next competition day and see how I do?

Hi, if you are not a member you should be able to buy a day pass for £3.50 or so.

Deano, will send you a PM re Saturday.

Hi chaps,

I'm interested in joining this one as well - I'm a bit too late for this weekend, as I've already got my 'day pass' from the Mrs to shoot on Sunday at BCA, but would love to join you next month.

Just a beginner - but have shot at Churchills a couple of times.

Matt

Off to EJ Churchills this coming Wednesday - looking forward to checking it out :good:

Being a newbie to clay shooting I chose EJ Churchills as it was the closest for me - it's a wonderful venue with a great setup, it's not the cheapest but you will enjoy it I am sure !

I'm looking to get a group of people who fancy a shoot/meet up there on a regular basis so if anyone's interested.....

It's a bit steep if you're not a member, I think it's about £48

Yes, that's a complete rip off as the going rate is around £36, most people, like me, have voted with their feet and don't go there anymore.

Having said that, I've heard that they're organising weekday 100 Bird Registered Sporting shoots on a Thursday with the first one kicking off on 7th April, entries 14.00 - 18.00, with an entry fee of only £30.

CPSA non-members can shoot upon payment of a "day fee" of £3.50.....I think..??

If true, this is excellent news and I'll certainly be there on 7th April. :good:

membership is rediculous as well..

a lot of money up there thats for sure. not too unreasonable for skeet/dtl etc but they have nothing on the £3 a round I pay at my club.

what is the cost to sign up as a CPSA member?

I didnt know there was a PW gathering up there, if I'm correct my grandad beats for the west wickam estate which I think is linked to this clay ground. If there's an open invite I may pop along and say hello at some point next time I'm up there :)
