cockercas
can anyone recommend a good lamp for shooting foxes with .243 out of the van thanks joe
steve_b_wales
I was going to say, what are the foxes doing in the van anyway! But, a good lamp is the Cluson Blaserlite, or Laserlite. Small, lightweight, and very powerful.

Luckyshot
Everyone will have their own personal opinion on this. Me personally I only use lightforce (I have 4 of them) never had an issue with any of the wiring that some people have had and they have been used for many an hours lamping with 100% reliability. Would I recomend lightforce! of course I would
Colster
For a cheap and cheerful option, try the Deben Cyclops, 3.5 million candlepower and you can pick them up for under £40. 100w Halogen bulb same as the Lightforce and comes with a clip on red filter. HEAD SHOT NO1
can anyone recommend a good lamp for shooting foxes with .243 out of the van thanks joe I was just thinking the same thing (seriously) and come across this http://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=NiteStalker220&cat=172 The other which I have used and know is brilliant is the lightforce 220 but this looks very similar to it and a bit cheaper.I know you can get accesories for the lightforce which you may want, the roof clamp thing, there electric or you can use them with your hand for moving it. Any one tried the one in the link?
garyb
Lightforce... but the internal wiring is poop
Beardo
i'd still go with a Lightforce, even having had to rewire mine.

bullet boy
For me the Lightforce lamps are by far the best!Get a Lightforce Blitz 240 handheld or what I use is a Lightforce Striker 170 scope mounted lamp which is Brilliant!! jonesbach
cb1 for me, enough light and lasts a bit longer than the cb2. been put off with lightforce wiring so bit dubious about any of them now.
