Dunkield
as soon as I move it, you post it again. There is a new thread in Meet Up, here: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/154182-fullers-brewery-tour/ Add you name to that if you are up for it. Meantime - London Pale Ale http://www.meantimebrewing.com/ and a couple of Essex beers from the Crouch Vale brewery in Woodham Ferrers... Amarillo & Brewers Gold http://www.crouchvale.co.uk/ all available in Tescos and well worth a try.
George1990
I remember one from the Arundel Brewery being amazing. Can't remember it's name. Badger's Golden Glory is amazing on a summers day, and Golden Champion. Black Sheep's Best and Timothy Taylor's Landlord from the list I've had so many lovely pints it's hard to choose. I had one recently called Pure Gold, can't remember the brewery, but that was amazing. Over winter a nice rich porter goes down well. Had one called Nutz by a small brewery and it was probably the best thing I've ever tasted - haven't seen it for years now. I went to the Isle of Skye over the summer, and their beer was the most foul stuff known to man. Surprised it didn't dissolve the glass before I drank it it was so acidic and tart. Zapp
Nick, those Crouch Valley beers use single hop types in them (in those cases Brewers Gold and Amarillo, which is an American hop). As it happens I am going to do an all Amarillo beer pretty soon, so I will have to get a bottle and see how it compares. George1990, the "Nutz" beer, if it is the one I am thinking of, is made by Bowman Ales. See Here.
