chrispti
Just seen a pigeon sat on her nest in my old dears garden, empty, broken egg shell on the floor beneath it Also seen a few flying into trees with twigs, obviously building nests
UKPoacher
Blackbirds were mating the other day and I've just seen Collard Doves at it. Also, yesterday Greater Spotted Woodpeckers were hammering out their territorial warnings. Looks like spring is here at last.

M ROBSON
I've seen plenty of young pigeons this winter, right through the cold spell. I've had 2 Danish hunters out for the last 3 days and they've shot 352 pigeons, of which about 20 were less than 3 months old. Hatched out in the snow and all in good condition!!! Here's one of todays bags. Image0060 by mj robson, on Flickr Cheers, Mark.
