mrikirkby
Does woods have a big selection ?
stevo_m
Was in woods the other day, they seem to have the best selection of decoy gear around. (That i've found in Norfolk anyway) Don't expect a smile though they seem very grumpy in there! They lost a sale of a SG because of that. goldypurple
Try Thetford guns, mark has plenty of stock and if he ain't got any, he can usually get next day.

garyb
Disagree with the above... Most helpful shop I've dealt with in the past 12 months. I don't even own an estate car let alone a county retreat.

I second that!! the guy at churchills steve is a p**k very stuck up. Due to being poorly dressed I was ignored for 20mins so I took my £1500 and brought my rifle elsewhere Philip Webster gets my vote!!

stevo_m
Had nothing but superb service from Churchills so have to disagree about the negative comments posted. I'm no lord and certainly not rich but they have always answered my questions quickly. I've had a couple of lessons off Steve and he has helped my shooting no end, I also go to their shoot once a month which has been excellent with a good mix of targets. iluvcurry
I had the opposite experience. About a year a ago I went in to Churchills for a look around. I was ignored for 7-8 mins by a couple of blokes in there and wasn't exactly made to feel welcome when I did manage to gain their attention. I wanted a Brattonsound 3 gun cabinet and was looking specificaly for a S/H Beretta 686E. They didn't have that type of cabinet and tried to flog me a 5 gun BSA which was twice as much as I was willing to spend and told me that the Berettas were very hard to come by and very expensive S/H but we've a couple of Browning sporters for sale. I walked out. If they haven't got the gear then fair enough but why try and palm me off with something I don't want. It wouldn't have been so bad if the guy had said that he'd take my number and give me a bell if a Beretta comes in or just keep checking the website but there was none of that ( I had said I'd wait for the right gun to come along) I use Philip Webster and he's very good. He listens to what you're actually saying, will offer to source product for you at a keen price and is an excellent gunsmith as well. deako01
Another vote for Philip Webster. Decent range of gear at a good price and he is also very helpful.
VULTURE
Hi I have to agree about Phillip Webster, he ordered a pair of LBR's for me and a mate at £55 less than Kranks prices and very quick with it too, He also is very good with lady shooters as well as he sorted gun fit for my wife and he does clay shooting lessons , I recommend him highly. Vulture. PS Cart prices are good too.
