KDR
Say if you are paying £170 for a 1000 shells...how much would you save by buying 10,000 instead...
apache
Maybe a couple of pounds/1000. Unless you shoot a lot not worth tying your money up for a few years, or chasing mate for their cash. Look harder - carts can be picked up for £135/1000 in Yorkshire, if you just want a cheap and cheerful clay cart. http://www.kelbrookshootingschool.co.uk/cartridges.pdf

sitsinhedges
not much. but you save on petrol and the inconvienience of never having shells. thats the biggest issue for me. I think for most cartridges it's probably cheaper to just go to your local shop rather than faffing about trying to buy all the different components from different sources, along with the regulations and expense for carriage of explosives etc. Where's the fun in that though
Breastman
My local RFD charges the same price for 10,000 as he does for 1000, still not worked out if thats a good or bad thing Anyway, if i could afford to buy 10,000 in one hit i would, the price of cartridges is only going to increase so aswell as getting the bulk buy saving, you're beating inflation  Mark
berties
If you buy 10k from a supplier who buys direct ie the importer you will get a trade price if you haggle and it is cheaper ,remember they quote ex vat for trade
