BIG 5
Can anyone advise me of a cheaper alternative than BASC on accident insurance. Only a part of BASC subs are an insurance and that is all I want?
apache
Bored of the discussion, really. CA doing half price membership for first year SACS cheap. Remember who you heard on the radio and tv after Cumbria shootings? Only the BASC. You get a lot more than insurance from them, they have clout that the others don't. You can even pay monthly direct debit if it's a lot in 1 go.

webber
If all you want is cheap insurance to cover your **** in the vent of a mishap there are plenty of organisations out there who will take your wonga. Its a pity that you don't wish to contribute towards supporting and protecting the sport that you enjoy. You can join BASC for 10 payments of £7 by direct debit. As others have indicated this subject has recently been done to the Nth. degree. Do us all a favvour and hit the search button. webber

anser2
Big 5 surely you cant be even thinking about joining any countryside organisation just for the insurance ! Talk about being short sighted.
dougall
do you mean accident insurance? If so watch out you won't get much if you blow yer finger off.. If you mean 3rd party/public liability insurance then it is the usual companies. BASC at @ £65 is about the same as a slab of decent cartridges..if you can't afford the former don't shoot the latter.
