drut
Autodata lists: 5w/30-cold climate,15w/40 or 10w/40 moderate climate, all to api/acea CF/B2-96 spec & capacity 6.0 lt for 2.5 non turbo 1985-1990(and some special order after that).Spec is he same for later turbo models but capacity can be higher.Personally I favour 10w/40. Glensman
Basically for our climate you stick 10w/40 semi-synthetic in just about all traditional diesel engines...

J@mes
They reckon Castrol is a sod to get off your drive if that helps? Lol I was going to say "use the thickest you can get, less likely to leak out through the holes"

dazbrit
the cheapest you can find(£15 for 5 litres from asda ) Found some even cheaper...£12.55, for 5 litres, from Wilkinsons. That will take some beating.
Glensman
the cheapest you can find(£15 for 5 litres from asda ) Ballymena Engine Spares do 5L of Motoquip semi-synthetic for £11. That's not an offer, it's the price. I buy it 25L at a time, the last drum a few weeks ago was £48 all in. Go for a name you know, it doesn't have to be Castrol GTX or anything, but I try to avoid the unknown brands.
