gixer1
If I unbolt a laminate stock and put back on the original synthetic stock, will I need to rezero? (as obviously the scope and barrel have not changed in relation to each other) Regards, Gixer
snowz
could, only one way to find out dont you think? should only take 1 shot to check it
bullet boy
No everything should still be zeroed.
cooter
Always check it, but there should only be a problem if the stock is touching, or if you knocked the scope.
casts_by_fly
It will be close, but it will most likely move some unless you have pillar bedded the action on both stocks. The uneven tightness of the action bolts on a non bedded action will cause a shift in POI. How much depends on the rifle itself. Vince Green
As said above. You shouldn't have changed the optical alignment but you may well have altered the dymamics of the rifle. Only one way to find out.

bullet boy
When I remove my Hogue Stock on my Ruger 10/22 to strip down the action when cleaning, the zero is always spot on afterwards!
Dekers
The theory matters not, whenever you go to these extremes you MUST check the zero!
