bignoel
what would be your first choice dog or bitch lab/springer etc and the reason why .
al4x
Bitch every time, just because they tend to be less head strong and easier to train. Also I already have a bitch and there is no way I'd have one of each together
Donnie
My lab dog may have to be castrated as one has not dropped and is in his gut. I was thinking of getting a bitch to be his kennel mate and work as well. Would you still not have them together?
AlistairB
I've always had bitches, not sure why, they just seem a bit easier to handle. And you do have the option of having a litter if you choose to.
nobby63
Would go for a bitch ! Cos when that belly wants a rub am sick of the lipstick !!
ollie
Bitches all the time. The same as Alex I find they are less head strong and I like the temperment of a bitch much better than a dog.
FalconFN
We have a bitch but plenty of people think dogs have more stamina and are more loyal - I'm yet to be convinced. I agree with the 'lipstick' comment too.
WGD
Breeding's more important than sex. I own an irish bred springer bitch, complete headbanger and harder headed than any dogs I've come across.
Albion
Dog every time. I never learn
left & right
A dog tends to be a bit more strong headed because they are the pack leaders but once you got them under control and they know who's boss they great and you can take them out year round due to them not coming into season. A bitch on the other hand is a bit easier to train and you can breed off her so she could pay for her self
