les gedge
Went out last night to have a look around new permission and bumped into this big fella and his wife. Weighed him this morning (by standing on bathroom scales with fox in my hands) and he came in at over 23 pounds and 4 foot long - one of the biggest we've ever seen and the farmer was delighted! Ended the night with 15 rabbits and two foxes - not a bad result, as we were only getting a feel of the land. Thanks to Andy Mitchell and Daz (Andy's pal). al4x
rough guess the hole shouldn't be too far away if you got the pair of them, from the look of her they should be pretty mobile by now as well.
camokid
iv heard if you find the hole leave the vixen just outside it and the cubs will come up to her. never done it but it makes sence when they get hungry they can smell her. pavman
go and find the cubs fella, a quick humane dispatch required
scolopax
any latish cubs will still be down the earth and will not be seen on surface, shooting both the vixen and the dog means that they will not be too far away. Jobs not finished yet.
Frenchieboy
Good going mate. It looks like that vixen is either in young or suckling! Still, "when a man's got to do what a man's got to do" as they say!
