Gazza bad shot
Where do you guys fish? Anybody else fish Hanningfield in Essex, thats my local
Cranfield
I use to fish a number of local farm reservoirs, that were stocked with trout, but they have all gone become day ticket carp waters. I get down to Rockbourne in Hampshire a few times a year and a few lakes in Kent and East Sussex. I also fly fish in the US and Ireland. I went and saw Hanningfield once, its as scary as Bewl Bridge, must be close to 1000 acres. If you use a boat and know where this fish are, I suppose its not so big as it seems. I,ll give it a try some day.
supergame
The okey dokey was banned on a number of scottish waters for being to efficient. I have used it on a couple of waters with good results. Buzzer feeders take it. I once fished a trout water that allowed maggot drowners and this fly took huge numbers of trout. The fly is often tied without a silver rib and possibly looks better. Last months trout fisherman mentions the tying.
