MC
I have been looking into this as my other half works for the local hospice, as far as I am aware you don't need a licence. But insurance is a good thing, speak to the CPSA or BASC and they will be able to help. If you are planning to hold it on an approved range/clay ground then they will already have there own insurance. Health and Safety will come in to play if you are charging people to shoot. Risk asessments and disclaimer notices will be needed. Cheers Martin

Cranfield
I would suggest going to a reputable Clay Shooting Ground and let them organise it all. Its a sure bet they have done similar things in the past.
Catamong
I've run both Charity shoots and a Clay shooting club in the past, and all you need to know can be obtained from the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association's website, from a booklet download, "How to run small shoots". Don't go to a shooting ground to organise it for you, as they will charge a fortune and you'll be left with nowt for the charity. See the link below: http://www.cpsa.co.uk/announcements.cfm Cat.
