Cranfield
I have shot well on linseed this year, but mainly on drilling and when the first shoots appear. After that the birds seem to lose interest. One linseed field is still attracting the birds, but it is the "volunteer" rape that is among the linseed that they are feeding on. The farmer will spray that off in the next week or so.
Highlander
Unless you've got late planted linseed I don't think you'll find many birds on it. As Cranfield says if you do they're likely to be picking at the weeds etc not the linseed. Might be worth a try if there are birds about. Mightymariner
Last year I had a couple of good days on it but this year the birds just don't seem interested, I have only seen a handful on it.
