pg123
Hi all Just bought my first gun. A second hand Webley & Scott classic game o/u 30" multi choke with 3" chambers for a little over £400 at Malmo Guns. They let me shoot half a dozen clays out the back to to check it was right for me. Staff in the shop gave me lots of help. Looking forward to getting into some clays soon... Just wanted to add a note of thanks to all the people who tried to help point me in the right direction as to what to buy. Cheers Paul
Gordon R
Paul - you are off to a good start with a gun from Malmo. I know of no better gun shop or more helpful staff. Good luck with your shooting and stay a safe shot.

Frenchieboy
Paul mate, if you want to "get a feel" for your new gun and fancy trying your hand at some clays we have a 50 bird clay shoot this Sunday at Milnrow. You would be more than welcome to join us. If you are interested drop me a PM and I will let you have my mobile number so we can chat about it! Another alternative would be to come out with me for a session or two on the crows and pigeons, you would be more than welcome. You only say that you are in East Lancs so I am guessing that you are not too far from me!

Gordon R
Simon - at the risk of giving the impression that I have shares in Malmo, it is worth a visit. They have a modern shop. set in a nice rural area. Prices are very, very good. They have shells, clothing, accessories by the truckload. Best part is the customer service. Old fashioned customer is right. I phoned one day about a Sorbothane pad for a Blaser. Brian said he could sell me one, but suggested a cheaper alternative of a Reactor pad to fit in my lad's skeet vest. I was intending to call, but was then given one. Just shows that they don't seek to empty your wallet. I have been in gun shops and treated as if they were doing me a favour. Someone said of a shop - that you just need to get used to their sense of humour. I never noticed the sense of humour in the shop concerned. If you only made one trip to a shop and were not used to their humour - would you return. I won't. Malmo will also let you try a gun behind their premises. The staff at the shop are shooters themselves. It's a long way just to buy a gun or look around, but if you ever visit or pass through the North West - do yourself a favour and give them a visit.
