I was thinking about bringing some port to go with our cheese, and maybe even a bottle of dessert wine, which I prefer with cheese than actual dessert.

I guess we'll start emailing and whatnot a bit nearer the time.

I see your avatar

When cats eyes were discovered, by someone driving down a lane and seeing a cat in front of him came up with the idea for cats eyes :hmm::yes: ,

my dad was driving the opposite direction at the same time, and came up with the idea for a Pencil sharpener :lol:

I have a new hard Goats Cheese "Pir Piri" this will go nicely with the "Hot Wobbly" lets hope you have plenty of cold something or other to wash it down with.

I will also bring some "Sawbridgeworth Gold" real ale.

Looking forward to meeting up, what time is kick off, do you want me there early to help set up?.

I have a nice idea for a very quick and tasty starter using Soft Goats Cheese it that is OK, but do not be frightened to say no.

Terry

activeviii - pigeons

njc110381- venison haunch

bakerboy- bread/ goats cheese

fisherman mike- beer

thunderbird- wine + guest (I reckon it's either a male escort in breeks or a stripper)

hendersons- food, wine, and a couple of uncle Bobs finest ciders

stripey 999

brown sauce

I've just copied and pasted the list of who can make it.If any of you have had second thoughts could you please let me know.If anybody else can make it then shouut up

If any of you need directions to where we will be please p.m. me and i will do my best to accomadate.

My feelings are that we should meet in the restaurant at about 7-7:30pm and have a couple while we say our hellos. This should give me time to finnish any bits that need finnishing in the kitchen.

If you all think it's a bit early or a bit late then shout up and we will change it i'm pretty flexible on everything but I can't speak for everybody else.

All the best for now Nick

Just shot 3 tender 3/4 grown rabbits and minced the fillets and back legs. I'm going to make up a batch of bunny burgers tomorrow, using Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's recipe. I shall freeze any me and my son don't eat tomorrow night and bring them along if you want?

Sounds lovely they would be a great addition to the table.

I made a start on a couple of bits today. I have braised a couple of venison shoulders, but I've done it in a way I've never tried before. With a bit of luck it should be good if not then I will turn them into something else. I've also left cooking in the oven at work a couple of shoulders on confit. I'm hoping to turn them into riellette but this really is a bit experimental so I have no idea how this will turn out. I think I'm probably the first to try it which probably means I'm the only one stupid enough to try it.

Just made them up and cooked a small quality control sample. They're really, really good :good: Some for me and my son tonight, and enough in the freezer for everyone to at least have a small taster. I reckon it might even convert njc110381?
