wowa id be scared to shoot with that many houses around. And fear of having some old lady report you to the police when shes looking out her window :(

Looks like you need to build a propper hide, and get some decoys on it. Bait the area well, and see what happens.. otherwise you just have to get lucky when something lands/hops onto the field.

Most of my hides for shooting pigeons with an airgun usually sit behind a fence bordering the field i intend to shoot. I then dress the fence to suit its surroundings as best as i can. To shoot pigeons with an airgun you need them to land, obviously, so some full-bodied decoys are usefull, so not to scare them off so easily. I set these out at around 20m (30m being my usual maximum range.) Dont expect enormous bags tho mate.

Cheers

Hi,

SS, do you have any photos because this sounds like the type of land that I shoot on? :(

For squirrels you could try this. put a couple of pallets( or however many needed to make a sound back stop) where you think squirrels will run, and put a small pile of corn in front of them. Wait for the squirrels to come to the corn, and if their in the right place, with a good backstop, shoot them. It may take a little while for the squirrels to find the food, but when they do, they'll be there regulary. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SAFE. If your not sure, ask someone who has plenty of experience, and listen to them.

You did well with the pigeons, and if you've seen one squirrel, there are probably more. With the rabbits, I would leave until the light is going, and SILENTLY(cause they have big ears) creep up on them. Some lads that I know actually sit, or lay out waiting for the rabbits to pop out.
