I believe its the same chasis as the L200 so fine for most places you should be going. Only issue is make sure the LPG system works as you wouldn't want to find it doesn't and have to run on petrol. I hate LPG with a passion on our works vehicles as it kills sensors, wrecks top ends and generally is a pain. Our vans do 100k with few problems then everything goes wrong. I gather you can add lube as they go but if its not got the kit fitted and the LPG has been on a while I would think twice, diesel is usually cheaper in the long run plus you get a far greater choice of vehicles

Any one have any experience with a Shogun Sport off road? It would be mainly for tracks and fields, nothing serious. Would be shod with a decent set of AT tyres.

If it for mostly off road and short trips I would not touch LPG get a diesel simpler all round My 4ltr Jeep Cherokee runs on LPG the problems are.

First I have to go five miles to fill it up so there and back is ten miles waisted fuel it runs on petrol only for the first half a mile before switching over to gas.

I was thinking about selling it but the LPG would not work so I took it in to be sorted by an LPG specialist cost me £500 was I peed off add to that I needed a new radiator and a new battery and its only worth about £1200.

The good points are cheep fuel for long trips and if for some strange reason you would want to go to London you do not have to pay the congestion charge.

Its the mrs's brother in laws car, been in the family a few year so not its history, although its had to have a new fuel tank and pump as it rotted away. Other than been trouble free and had all brakes and services done in recent years.

Poss cheaper to run than my trooper but possible not as built as well but more comfortable and refined. Have to see what kind of price he is after, thinks its got 60k miles on an 03 plate.

Would prefer a twin cab pickup but seem to be going for good money at the moment. Have a company car so it doesn't get used for commuting but will still do a good 8 to 10k miles a year.

Still pondering really.....
