Has anyone got experience of this? Full package - not had one before so need the battery, charger and everything and this seems to work out as cheap as any other way of doing it. Kdubya also seems to be saying positive things about the hyper flaps this morning?

Any thoughts appreciated? Cheers.

Love Hyperflaps, the best rotary decoys barring dead birds in my humble opinion; Though you definitely need a speed controller to get the flapping just right.

I personally wouldn't get the rotary that only uses Hypers, I would always want the option to put dead birds on there as well.

The Hyperflaps also work well on a bouncer.

Any rotary will take Hypa-Flap decoys - you take off ther V section and simply screw the Hypa-Flap onto the rotary arm. (Edit: They mount the same as the V sections - slide on and tighten the thumbscrew).

As Cosd says, you will need a speed controller to make sure you get the speed right for them and it's a must if you use them on a standard rotary which will spin too fast for the lighter weight on the arms.

to be honest the best package deal on there is the magnet and flapper deal for £99. i would go for that myself but i already have a magnet and just bought a turbo flapper off ebay yesterday.

the only problem with the later Hypaflaps is the attachment is now plastic, when you try to tighten them the plastic tube deforms and doesn't hold the decoy in position,so you tighten it more and they slip, happened to a mate of mine,i got the older model with the steel attachments.no issues.I like them and i think they can out perform a real bird as the create more movement

Sorry - I was trying to link this one "Pigeon Magnet Ultimate Rotary Decoy - Package 3" fo £205.

After I buy battery, charger, speed controller and decoys seperately then the cost is over that so better to get the package to start me off?
