Lord Geordie
Mine is a Cosmo 100 from B&Q Cost about £115 but i have welded 3 of MY cars my Ex Wifes car and My boat trailer etc etc etc and it is STILL going after about 2 years. As i say i bought the stuff to do Gasless welding (gasless wire) Also the Argon and Alloy wire for Aluminium Parts like Tips etc are cheap enough too. Dunkield
hi Stuart , i will ask him , but he has asked for a gas less one.is the gas readily available, is it expensive. how much for the kit inc p,p. cheers mate. I have no idea to honest mark, it is a trolley, the gauges, the hoses, the welding torch, a cutting torch and some odds and ends of brazing rods and welding rods (mild steel) I used to mess about with cars back in the day so bought this and rented the bottles from BOC, I gave the bottles back when the period was up, so what I have left is all the rest of it, just sat in the shed. If you think he is seriously interested I will pull it all out and take a picture of it, to be on the safe side i would recommend to anyone that they get it checked & tested before using it, but it served me well as was well looked after. Curly87
i would recommend the JCB mig welder, that was the first mig i got. real simple to use, has a high or low setting, it welds up to about 3-4mm thick steel. its cost me £100 i think form argos believe it or not, not sure if they r still selling it. also cheap to run, the spools cost about £5 each. hope this helps
