Bit like an MG, I do love my overland but would I recommend it to a friend, no, and the reason being the known common faults, my sporter has been in repair more that it has been in the field since purchase in 2009 and my overland suffers misfiring issues every 20/30 cartridges with what looks like a light strike on the primer cap.

hi the reason they tend to miss fire now and again is the rebound springs for the pins are to strong and as the main springs weaken over time they cant compensate easy fix is to have the springs changed for weaker ones, i did and its fine now

i bought a bettinsolli 12 gauge diamond line, and all went well for a year and then misfires, double discharges, broken springs, just got fed up with the thing allways in the gunsmiths, bought a miroku mk60 and had no problems at all with it, but must admit the engraving and wood is better on the bettinsoli but it dont do you no good when the gun is allways letting you down

Had my Diamond for over two years and good few thousand clays, no problems, Quality all shotguns now made by CNC machines so no reason for poor quality

Woodwork is quite good for budget gun

Bettinsoli are mechanical second shot not recoil so maybe older guns had a problem with that if dirt gets into works,

Tell me a gun make that has not had a fault, but nearly all are far between now days

A interesting point is if you look at all shotgun makes, the better wood doubles or triples the basic price which doesn't say much for the gun itself when a basic gun with great wood is more expensive than maybe the next higher gun in the range with poorer wood

All in I will keep mine a few more years
