reggiegun
Hi, My son is putting in for his firearms cert. He wants a 22 rim fire under lever rifle. There is no problem with the land for granting, but my question is will they grant a cert for an under lever for vermin control? Or do you need to be a member of a gun club (targets) to be granted an under lever slot. Reggiegun :hmm:
gixer1
They will grant it no problem, I have one for fox and vermin, and also a bolt action and have to say I love my underlever. steve_b_wales
When applying, don't write 'underlever' or 'semi auto', just ask for a .22LR rifle. I used to own a Winchester 9422 underlever rifle. It was a lovely gun, accurate, and fun to use. I think it held 15 rounds.
Dekers
There shouldn't be a problem, but who knows. Not mine or many peoples first choice for vermin control, but they can actually have some advantages on some quarry if you stick with open sights rather than a scope!
