£695! me and my mate have just made one out of scrap and bit of flat bar has cost us £10, it was with a lot of help from a member on here and alot af trawling the net but it does the job, we are just now in the process of improving the design

Even the 'roughest' shot does the job! Pigeons and Clays!

I think the problem apart from the chaps ego being hurt is that at that price his masterpiece just isn't viable for the average homeloader and that grates on him.

You would need to make about 300 kilos just to break even with factory bought shot after you've bought the lead to put in it but apparently, and we don't know for sure because it's such a big secret, it's not an industrial machine either so it's kind of in no mans land commercially.

For me making the machine was as much fun as making the shot in it, I have as much excellent shot as I could ever use and know what it can do. What anyone else is making is irrelevant really.

Shame the chap doesn't want to be part of the reloading community really, we can all learn something from other people and maybe people wouldn't be so negative about it if they understood it more.

WE MAKE LEAD SHOT; we get better at it 'thru passing on our research.

I first made lead shot in 1973, from .22 bullet lead. It was OK, just OK. I shot a 92/100 Skeet at RAF Bentwaters, Suffolk. The only reason I didn't get a higher score that day was because I wasn't good enough. I'd never blame my shot.

We (you know who you are friends) now make excellent shot, but the same goes: You have to put the tubes in the right place!

reloading courses there are expensive too. £180. i teach for free.

it costs me my time, thats all.

knowlege should be free, components cost money.

when it comes to new loaders, would they rather sink £180 in a lesson or sink £180 into 1250 cartridges? i know what i`d rather spend it on.

even if they arnt sure on if they`d like to reload, it will put people off.

i`m sure he`s competent and gives a good course.

About you

For both reloading and shot making you need to be practical and logical.

i actually wouldnt mind going on a lead shot course. but not at that price. for something i might not even take up,

i could just buy £150 bulk buy lead instead.

i know these machines can make money and shot. why end up making shot instead of shooting it !

i really admire how the shot manufacturers here do it, FC,sits et al.... for me?

i cant be *****.
