MiLisCer
Speak to Andy Cullen - he has just moved South to Alnwick in Northumberland http://www.laochingundogs.com/ But I would be happy to travel anywhere for the right dog. What breed have you opted for? Mike
scimitar
Haven't decided yet, it's down to a shortlist of GSP, GWP, English and visla. Someone mentioned a dog called a spinone I'd never heard of them before so they are on the list for further research. The next step is to contact some trainers and pick their brains about the 5 breeds I have shortlisted. Questions about bloodlines, health, temperament and living with my spaniels. No good getting a dog if it isn't suitable for living outside.
Dirty Harry
Kimmax or Bareve for GWP. Both up north I think.

al4x
Kimmax or Bareve for GWP. Both up north I think. I get put off Kimmax due to the issues they had with epilepsy, when you see the pedigree of the litter in question they were so inbred with everything being kimmax its not surprising. But they are one of the noisiest breeders on the web promoting good breeding in GWP's
MiLisCer
Kimmax or Bareve for GWP. Both up north I think. Maxine and Peter (kimmax) are based on the Wirrel - and Sharon (Bareve) is in Lincolnshire! You would be better of speaking to a breeder than a trainer (or one who does both) - or the breed club secretary for each breed (Google) Mike

Pidge
If you really don't know what breed you want why don't you go somewhere like Discover Dogs and find out which you actually like the look of first before you take it any further. You will have a long time living with whatever breed you choose.
