Right ideas but badly put. In the UK it needs to be couched in namby-pamby speak to save offending the natives!

It's a minority that can accept that natural predation is necessary and if the balance has been upset (normally by us!) then culling is also necessary! The majority see any killing as cruel, yet still stuff themselves silly on meat without ever realising that most shot animals probably suffer far less than those 'humanely' killed!

Sadly the comments are representative of a lot of people in this country. They're detached from reality and have a lack of understanding of ecosystems. What baffles me is that while many of these animal rights militants make the connection that there are far too many people in the world and that man is upsetting natural balances and destroying habitats everywhere- they don't seem to be able to resolve the fact it's man's duty to keep a level of natural balance in line with what that modified ecosystem can sustain.

Disney has a lot to answer for.....

sadly the guy makes my blood boil over,

self richeous pen pushing tree hugger, he was seen on tv ( country file) the other week where he had a go at Janet street porter about shooting woodcock for eating , and boy did she put him in his place,

hes a total waste of time and loves the sound of his own voice even when he gets it wrong.

bob.
