Frenchieboy
I was up at my mate's place the other day picking up another gun and managed to get this photo of his Red Stag watching over one of his "harem". The photo makes it look like he was bellowing but if the truth be known he had just stood up and was yawning! How I would love to have a fine beast like him lined up in my crosshairs - Especially with a rack like the one that he is proudly carrying! He was photographed at about 100 yards. I don't think he would take too kindly to any of us taking his stag out mate! It's not so much a deer park, he just breeds a few! He is a Game Dealer, a Live Animal Capture Specialist and an FRD and is more more into culling and stalking. I was out culling some fallows with him last Friday and took out 9 "prickets" with my .243, very pleasing for my first chance at Fallows. He has now said that he would like me to shoot with him on every cull that he does, which is great as it gives me plenty of experience "in the field" and I am learning a lot from him including gralloching and dressing them. coyotemaster
Nice picture Frenchie, he is indeed a trophy. It says a lot about your marksmanship and learning ability to be asked along on culling hunts. Well done there.

Frenchieboy
That looks a fine animal, good result on the culling too! Plenty of venison for the family! I am extremely fortunate to have a friend like this. I didn't get any venison from the cull but I am always welcome to have some whenever I want from him. He is a good teacher but doesn't suffer fools lightly and I have to make sure that I listen and learn from him because he does not give second chances, which I respect. Freinds like that are worth their weight in gold! To all the others that have posted a reply on this thread, thank you for your comments!
