For taxidermy? If you look on Ebay (type in taxidermy frozen) you occasionally find sellers listing dead frozen mink, stoats, or birds. No cats though! :hmm:

Yes - it is for taxidermy but I wanted to get the claws off the carcess. The cat or mink are the right size claw. Might have to see what cats there are on the road or if there are any pest controllers about.

Thank you

Dear all,

I am after a dead mink in the West Yorkshire area if anyone shoots or traps one. I would also be happy to take a dead cat instead if you have one that accidently fell into your car on the way to meeting up.

Thank you

:hmm: A long time friend & Taxidermist of mine wont touch mink ! am told they are known to carry some thing but not sure what! I must give him a ring a ask !.

But saying that I stuffed one once & I am still alive ! NOW please no comments from the FILTHY MIND BRIGADE !

Thank you had not thought of the river trust. I got hold of a mink skin but I do need some more and pole star, i have mounted one before so I too will be expecting a remark or too and maybe the classic gag about have two dogs stuffed.....

:hmm: Cant get hold of Ben till tomorrow & when I do I will find out why he wont touch em & what the virus is that they are surpposed to carry :hmm:

Pole Star ps when I lived in Oxfordshire we often saw them on the road & keepers working near the Thames or streams that ran into it aways use to get em.
