CoolColonna
I have recently bought so many gun gadgets that it is unbelievable, however there is one that has taken to my eye that i am slightly unsure of. Before i fritter away 25 quid has anyone used the accucover and does it make a noticeable difference? I know that it is supposed to eliminate certain accuracy faults but has it made a noticeable difference to anybody that has used it? Many thanks. tinytim38
looks like a load of pooh to me..... might be missing the point, but it seems to me a bit like have a sign on your gun telling you front end  and back end  ......... But then surely a piece of tipex on each side of the scope would do the same thing.
telf
But then surely a piece of tipex on each side of the scope would do the same thing. you might be right about the tipex, but i bought one to give it a go and the first couple of times of use it was apparent that whilst shouldering the gun in my normal way and then checking the marks on the cover i wasnt holding the gun upright and when looking through the scope and my eye wasnt in the middle of the eyepiece, after a couple of times of use it did help to correct my faults and i found i would do it automatically.Whether or not it improved my shooting im not sure but i still have it on the gun and do still check it now and again. If nothing else it serves as a flip up and the good thing about it when you flip it up it folds back flat on the scope cheers dave
steve_b_wales
I made my own, by fitting some 'arrow pointed' shapes, made from fluorescent tape, onto a clear scope cap. Tried it out, and it worked, but then decided I did'nt need it.

Vipa
I've got one. Use it on my target rifle... Not that much more than a standard Buttler Creek flip up and yes... it does exactly what it says on the tin and ensures perfect mounting every time. Perfect mount is a bit of a leap, the idea is to make to look down the scope centrally, that certainly does not mean a perfect mount, and if you need arrows for that perhaps we should start asking other questions!
