Beardo
Really enjoyed today's shoot, bit too warm but i shot well (9 birds for 14 shots), and i'm getting used to using my old hammergun (i think i shoot better with it than i do with my Silpig!) We have a few more exotic breeds this year... Here's me with my golden boy.. i thought they were called Bohemians, but i just looked them up and they look different, any ideas? We also have a few nice melanistic birds and a Reeves cock - saw him when i was beating - amazing looking bird, huge length on his tail - unfortunately i'd put my camera down when he appeared. Plenty of fungi around - i found a couple of Wood Blewits (didn't get a photo though), and there were loads of Fly Agarics starting to appear... Leaves are falling at last. Beardo
I'd hardly be nickbeardo with no beard would I! I would have been tempted to get the blonde stuffed were It not for the fact that it smacked straight into a tree after I hit it, half plucking it in the process
12borejimbo
We reared 6 White pheasants one year, it was a £100 fine if you shot one, they all got shot, and no one payed up. A good day none the less. Its always nice to see what other members look like.
