margun
Evening all, After the fun and games with BT I posted about recently (it turns out that our broadband did not work because some ****** nicked the cable), we are happily back from the dark ages. Being a youtube and iplayer fan, I am interested in how much I am using (we have a 10Gb monthly usage allowance). I don't fancy getting walloped because my habit of missing Frozen Planet or watching 'MyRedFaceTube' has caused me to exceed my monthly allowance. Does anyone from the fountain of knowledge that is Pigeon Watch know of a good (free) monitor that I can download? I tried Net Meter 1.1.4 and that didn't show any usage at all, even when watching youtube videos. I wondered whether the problem might be the fact that the laptop runs off the wifi? Cheers M

DSPUK
I have just signed new contract with BT on 10g package- previously on option 2 -- I asked if I had used anywhere near 10g and he said highest I ever used was 4g and I thought I used it a lot on Youtube - he also said if you are getting near your limit they will email you. - I have just connected TV to BBC iplayer so will be interesting to see.
