bothbarrels
Sitting at the pc, at the weekend, looked out of the window and the sky went grey with woodies coming out of thier roosting woods, this went on for about about hr, looks like it might be a good start for the winter season? Cranfield
They are definitely flocking up in the woods in my area. This weeks frosts and temperature drop may well bring them out onto the rape, as the woodland food disappears................fingers crossed. Another thing to remember is that although some of the rape seems to be getting away nicely, some near me is 10-12 inches high, the frosts soon knock it down to "pigeon height".
