-Mongrel-
Always been into bikes. Was a track day instructor for Focused Events for 4 years Looks familiar, were you instructing in 2010? If so I think I may well have had a day with you! If not, another of their instructors is also running a Crescent Gixer! Edit: Just seen your name! Almost certain it was you now! Dunkield
Whats the bike in the second picture? I really like the 'street scambler' style, I reckon anyone making a replica/retro bike these days could clean up.
Drayman
500 Rickman Metisse which I had years ago. Bought it for £300 and sold it for a grand. Nowadays a fully restored one goes for £5K. It had a unit 5TA Triumph engine in the Rickman nickel coated frame with oil in the frame. Always needed a fettle and lousy brakes but good fun. I grew up on Brit two strokes and 4 strokes and they are great fun, but you have to love them! If only I had kept mine .........see next post Edited January 17, 2012 by WVAM

Dunkield
Thanks Shaun Its on the right lines, but I am not sure about those exhausts - the problem is their hands will probably be tied by directives on emmisons etc

Drayman
Indeed, he is very 'on trend' at the moment http://www.barbourbymail.co.uk/Steve-McQueen.top None of these are mine but this thread reminded me I had some old bike pictures from The Revival last year Great pictures - The Rickman Metisse's are great to look at but you spend ages keeping them looking that way. They are also a bit heavy - I can still remember giving my Triumph Metisse a handful of gas on soft dirt. It just buried the back wheel down to the axle! But you can have a new one if you want: http://www.metisse-motorcycles.com/merchandise.htm
