blackbird
Very nice shotgun for rough shooting but forget it if you are going to use it for clay/decoy shooting I borrowed one for a 100 bird sporting comp & it kicked the s##t out of me
gixer1
I own a gold, and it is beautiful to shoot... And if you man up you can put as many carts through it as you would any other gun! It's all in the mount! BerettaSV10
Very nice shotgun for rough shooting but forget it if you are going to use it for clay/decoy shooting I borrowed one for a 100 bird sporting comp & it kicked the s##t out of me As blackbird says they are a very nice gun with some having wonderful wood on them. If you want to use it for bashing 100 + clays with 28G cartridges you could do with being well padded or have a shoulder pad fitted. For clays would be better using 21 / 24G cartridges. For game shooting a brillient gun from from what friends have said light enough to carry around all day. gixer1
Here you go...as said, if you choose correctly you can get a beautiful piece of wood on them, no idea what grade mine but I love the wood on it... 63d7.jpg[/img] Edited December 22, 2011 by gixer1
fenboy
I had one used it at one of the clay flushes and promptly sold it , a good gun for its intended use ,but for clays and decoying where you have a good day or are using heavier loads it will punish you manned up or not ! , 200 28gr shots and I felt like I had been ten rounds with tyson, but if you want it for walked up or driven game its a lovely gun but I would not want to use anymore than 28gram loads Edited December 22, 2011 by fenboy

EdSolomons
I've never got this light gun mullarky. If your a bloke carrying a "heavy" gun of say 10lb around a field all day surely makes no odds to how you feel? It's the same as a cartridge bag and a pair of walking boots! Light guns kick, reason enough to avoid I recon but each to their own!
gixer1
Try swinging a light gun around though - much nice IMO I really don't get this kick complaint, I dont think it's a noticeable difference, even after loads of clays.... Now a double eight - ok, that kicks but a 12 gauge? Nah!
crob12
im not a competitive clay shot just the odd 100 bird sporting so it might fit the bill

snowblind66
I recently bought one of these - brilliant. How much do you reckon my ones worth? (Ultralight Delux, original case, chokes etc excellent condition)

gixer1
Forgot to say, if a gun shop try's to fob you off with a deluxe saying its the same as the gold tell them no - they are different although people try to pass deluxe models off as gold's.
